Re: Pascal 400kb Disk
Thanks to all responses ! But... We didn't succeed in reading these
discs..... More information:
Originally, the Iie was have an "eicon research" DDC2 double density
controller", that seems to work. The drive was a Sony 400k Drive, very first
model, see here: www.macgeek.org/museum/sony400kdrive/
<http://www.macgeek.org/museum/sony400kdrive/>. This drive seems to be dead.
To use this drive/card, we need to launch a SONY.CODE exe under Pascal.
Pascal saw then the drive as #11.
So we try with an Apple Iigs (one Apple 3.5 drive). None of waht we try
right now is working. Pascal.fst only accept 800k discs, copy II plus ask
also for a 800 k disc.
Last chance:
- ADFS (thanks to David M. Potter, I send him an 800k Pascal Image disk).
- Chameleon ???
- trying to boot the Iigs with a 5.25 drive under Pascal 1.3
Stay tuned !
Regards.
