I was just in WalMart and decided to finally shell out $30 (CDN) for a
miniature 12 volt TV/radio, with the hopes of using it as a portable A2
monitor... The screen is about 5" diagonal and it has built-in composite
video and audio input.
Happy to say that after about 1 minute of fiddling with the brightness
and contrast I was able to get a very good image in both 40 and 80 col-
umn text and with just a slight tap on the brightness I was able to use
hires interface apps like MultiScribe and Mouse Paint, with very little
eye strain... GS/OS is do-able, though the coloured desktop doesn't
really translate too well in B/W.
