Ok, first of all, if that is your only drive then simply jumper A1 and A2.
This
will be ID 6. If this is the second drive and no Zip drive, CD, or other
drive
will be attached, then A0 and A2, this gives you ID 5. If you do have other
drives, then A2 alone is 4 and so on. Normally one wire goes to all pins of
A0, A1, and A2 and three of them 1 each goes to 0, 1 and 2. The only way
to know for sure which wire goes to which pin is to test them with a meter
or
a small light tester. There should be 3 wires together and one off by
itself.
this would be common. Test each one of the others to this one, and see where
 the setting is on the dial on the case. If you want them connected that is.
You
don't need to connect them, simply jumper per above to obtain the desired
ID.

There should be no need for an external terminator, but it wouldn't hurt
anything if you did have one on it. I have an active terminator between
the Hard drive and scsi card. I was afraid to try passive.
