But seriously, check the current at the
1.8432 crystal and compare it to the
current supplied on your schematic.
It may be not enough to drive that
high a rating. Also, I believe the baud
rate depends largely upon the current
level being sent to the port. Let me know
what you find. I will also be doing some
serial conversions soon. Can I get a copy
of that schematic possibly?
