Re: my IIGS 3 1/2 drive conked out
My slot 6 holds a Duodisk controller and I have a drive //c attached
to it (I have a shugart and a teac-looking drive but the connecting
cables are missing)
also just now, my 3.5 drive miraculously fixed itself. I turned it on
its side and tried to boot a disk and it booted. after which standing
it right side up stayed working. I would love to buy stuff from ebay
or brand new but I don't live in the mainland US and shipping and
taxes would probably cost me more than the item itself. But I will
get a backup unit since I think this will conk out again soon, and
unlike the first time, It might stay conked.
