Yes, I bought one then when the price was about $50.

I tried it out and it worked fine, but the screen had few characters,
and the watch weighed several times as much as a watch *should*
weigh.  So into the drawer it went, to be revisited at some point in
the future when I re-discover it.  ;-)

BTW, I also bought one of the watches that contains a TV remote
control, and stopped wearing it after a couple of weeks, too.  (But
not before I had a lot of fun playing tricks on people by surreptitiously
"remote controlling" their TVs.  ;-)

Come to think of it, I have some kind of "watch" thing--I also bought
an Accutron (and loved it until quartz), and one of Intel's Microma
LED watches.  And I still have all of them!
