QDOS/MS-DOS is much more intimitely connected to CP/M than
Windows is to MAC-OS.
 
The lowered number MS-DOS calls for instance almost mimic the
corresponding CP/M calls.  And the layout of the FCB in MS-DOS is
very similar to the layout of the FCB in CP/M.
 
I DON'T think the system calls in Windows bear much resemblance
to the system calls in MAC-OS ......
