Due to the high cost of getting a harddisk for my IIe & IIgs. I think the
cheapest solution is to get a cheap LC ($4.95) and an IIe emulation card
with cable ($9.90) to store my Apple II programs in the 160MB harddisk of
the Mac. The best part is the IIe card is able to read the 5.25" disks.
So I bought an LC475 and the IIe emu card from ebay but to my dismay, the
mac was preloaded with OS7.6.1 and this doesn't support my IIe card. Any
body has any experience to down-grade the OS to 7.5.3 or provide me with a
site with step-by-step procedure to do it? I am not a mac user but I might
later make the mac talk with my IIgs through the serial port and get a
bigger ext harddisk for it.
TIA
Allen
