Hard and Zip Drives on GS/OS

I have a Quantum hard drive with termination and a Zip
drive supplying term power on a ][gs with a 1 meg ram
card (full). I can get GS/OS 4.0 to boot up fine and it
sees everything but the Zip, will not see hard drive
anyway as it is only being used for termination until my
terminator arrives. Even with SCSI.Driver installed it
doesn't. Now with 5.0.4 it sees it as a floppy or a file.
But when I install SCSI.Driver and SCSI.Manager it
crashes on boot up. I figure this is due to lack of ram.
Keep in mind I am using Apple SCSI rev. A. Rev.C
firmware eprom is on the way.
Getting down to the question now. When I boot up in
ProDOS 2.0.3 and run SCSI partition utility, I can see
both the Hard disk and the Zip disk. Partition them both.
But when I go to format them with Copy II plus 7.1,
it only sees the Zip drive, formats both partitions and
finally I can load slot 7 disk 1 and disk 2 with files and
boot from S7,D1. Even after this is accomplished, I still
can't see any SCSI drives as hard drives on GS/OS.
Is there anything I can do to alleviate this issue?
I am stumped. I've been working at this on and
off for a couple weeks now. Any help is welcome.
