Actually a IIgs at 25,000 is about $200, not 1000. The exchange rate
floats at about 120 per $ on the market. I have sold them as high as
30,000 yen here but that was with the works (drives, monitors, etc).
The high end HDD and memory added models would fetch 40,000-50,000 yen
(about 300-380$) and not really all that different from the US.
