	Hi, Brian;

   Personally, I've been knocking around an idea for an accelerator for the IIe and
GS based on a Transmeta Crusoe chip. It uses a 128 bit Very Long Instruction Word to,
currently, emulate PIII's and P4's though the 8/16 bit 6502 family should be much
easier to formulate the morphing matrix. You can even expand this to 32 or 64 bits
since the chip is designed for emulation. It also has a Northbridge PCI interface and
a few serial I/O ports built in as well as DDR memory controller supporting up to
512MB I believe. The only stumbling block I've found is how to 'fool' the FPI chip of
the GS to think it has a full allotment of memory shile using only the DDR memory for
programs and data and only using the 1Mhz memory for I/O. Check this option out at
the Transmeta site and let us know what you think about it.

Todd.
