A year or so ago I spent quite a bit of time reverse engineering some .app
files. I got some of the files off the internet and some were sent to me by
people who wanted FishWings to support .app images (I don't have a TrackStar
myself). I believe I posted what "I think" I found out about the .app format
at that time but if you are interested I will repost it. The last version of
FishWings (v0.80) actually has code in it that I was working on to at least
read the images, but it is "turned off" since it is buggy. If you want to try
FishWings on .app images (buggy code and all) you can turn on the code by
editing the FishWings.ini file. In the FishWings.ini file under [Debug] change
TSON=FALSE to TSON=TRUE. Please be careful and don't trust the files to be
read 100% correctly. In fact some won't even be read at all.
I tried the two images that Bryan Villados has listed for download and both can
at least be displayed.
