Re: Help with ADT
Thanks to all that responded. I got fed up with the SSC setup, even though
it should have worked. Anyway, I got a Asynchronous (anyone know what that
means?) Modem cable, mini din 8 to DB25. I have it hooked from the modem
port on the GS to a DB25-DB9 adapter on COM2. I can send monitor dumps and
even type on my PC and have it show up on the GS, but ADT-gs .91 still will
not work. When I try to recieve a file, the GS just says "WAITING FOR PC
REPLY" and the PC just keeps blinking "READY". Just for the heck of it a put
a DB25F-DB25M null modem adapter I got at Radio Shack into the mix. Then I
could no longer do monitor dumps, but ADT-gs .91 did sometimes say
"RECEIVING FILE", but there was no change in on the PC side and after 30
minutes, the file still hadn't been sent. I ran ADTCK and the checksum is
fine. Does anybody have any idea what could be wrong? Wrong knid of cable?
Bad COM port? Dust on the connector? Please help!
Thanks,
Greg
