One option I like for PC/Mac<->to/from<->IIgs, is a SyQuest drive. Yes
you'd need a SCSI card(s), but the drives were dirt cheap and offer backup
for the Apple 2s, and function as a hard drive. A Mac can read a PC
SyQuest, and there is software to read/write/format Mac disks in a PC. I
haven't tried it, but you may be able to go from PC -> IIgs using HFS.

I commited to 88meg SyQuests and now have a life time supply of disks and
external drives, also have a lifetime supply of 44 meg drives. I like
them. Much prefered over an LS120 except for size.
