Your best bet is to buy already enhanced IIe.

It might be possible that I have a spare one, which I could send over. No
charge for it, maybe, the frieght because I live in New Zealand. I'd like
to swap for possibly two working Apple II mouse's for my IIe & IIc (I can
provide the exact details, make, model, etc). Apple II hardware are
nearly impossible to locate downunder, I still can't get an Apple Colour
Monitor for my IIGS. :(
