IIRC, you clip a wire inside the power supply to switch it over to 240V. It
should be a short loop of wire from one point on the PCB to another. (My
US-spec IIe was purchased in England (in the BX at RAF Lakenheath), but it
ran on a step-down transformer while we were in England and Germany.)
