There was a project a few years ago called Facelift, which was
supposed to allow IIgs programs to take advantage of the higher
resolutions offered by the Second Sight video card. Unfortunately it
was never finished, but I do remember the source code was released. I
spotted it a year or two ago on one of the FTP sites. Use Google to
do a search of the comp.sys.apple2.* newsgroups for "Facelift" and you
should get a lot more info.
