First of all: Does it card works on an Apple IIe ?Yes If yes, what slotmust I need to put it ?Usually slot 7Interesting--is there any particular reason for preferring slot 7? (I always used slot 4 for my CP/M cards.) Seems like slot 7would make it a little harder to use a hard disk (for non-CP/M uses). The manufacturers recomended slots 4, 5, and 7. I discovered slots I used to use slot 3 on a IIe. 1 and 2 also worked if you don't want to use a printer or modem. Slot 6 was reserved for a floppy drive.
As I recall, the Apple //e manual suggests slot 7, perhaps because that's where Pascal expects it, or, perhaps that's what's left after Pascal expectations, I really don't recall at the moment.
However, both Wayne and Michael are correct, more than slot 7 can be used, which is why I answered "usually".
