Hi, Paul,
Eventually, yes. As Paul Schlyter says, the usual next step is to transfer
ADT (much the same way you got DOS 3.3). Then, you can transfer ProDOS disks
which are .dsk disk images. You can, also, transfer a .dsk image which has a
telecom program and use that program to handle future transfers instead of ADT.
A .dsk disk image file _can_ be in ProDOS order; however, that is fairly
unusual. In nearly all cases, a .dsk image (whether it is a "DOS 3.3" or
"ProDOS" disk) will be in DOS 3.3 order and transfer correctly via ADT.
There's a collection of .dsk image disks, including a couple with telecom
programs, on Ground at ftp://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu/apple2/useful.stuff/Disks/ .
ADT is two programs, one for the Apple II and one for the PC. If you are
running Windows on a PC, you definitely want the PC side to be the new Windows
version of ADT. (See http://www.apple2.org.za/gswv/a2zine/gswv/ADTWin.html .)
The DOS version is okay; but, you need to be in DOS (not a DOS window) for it
to work correctly.
On the Apple II side, with most models, you want ADT v1.21 or v1.22. On a
IIgs, you want ADT-GS.
