LOL - like I care what you have to say.
That isn't exactly what I wanted to say... more of the, "if you want to put your head in the sand, who am I to stop you?"
Here's what you could say, if you weren't so pompous:"You're right, sometimes I have been rude too, and I'll try not to do that again."But I doubt that have enough honesty to do that.
Opps, seems my fingers weren't listening to my mind, I left out the "you" between "that" and "have".
On further reflection, I do think you should block my posts Paul, someone with such a pompous attitude as you demonstrated in recent posts must have a delicate psyche, and someone else pointing out items such as the hypocrisy of your post quoted below could do real psychic damage. I wouldn't want that on my conscience.
I, however, will continue to enjoy csa2 as it has been since Tom left. Nothing personal against Tom, and my own opinions on some issues has moderated, but he was a lightening rod for some because of past behavior, and as long as he was posting here, there were nasty posts back and forth, and the group was off topic: Apple II.
For me, I personally wish Tom well, and Jeff, and QC wherever he may be. Believe it or not Paul, I even wish you well. I hope that A2Central prospers as well as csa2. It is my hope that piracy is dead, or nearly so, but then, there are so few products still being sold that I doubt there's much interest is stealing the hard work of the very few who still serve this community. I really hope that the few productive individuals will not grow weary, nor be discourage by the badmouthing against that that has happened here in this newsgroup, even in the not too distant past.

I am curious here.... What have you EVER done to keep the platform going? I've never seen a program that you have written, or a piece of hardware that you have designed, nor have I even seen a book or booklet written on the Apple II with your name on it
So please Paul, enlighten me, what have YOU done that has kept the platform alive?
I'm blocking your posts as of....now.

You yourselfhavebeen part of the lane.I've fought fire with fire, and CSA2 is the better for it.I disagree. Those whopersecuted Tom, Rubywand, et al got a taste of their own medicine fromme.Ah, and what of the persecution of Joe Kohn et al in years/months past? Do you care about that? I've never seen you defending their rights. They don't bother us,Who is "us"? I won't bother them. If you go back and take a look, you'll see I didn't start any fights.Ah, but you admit that you have given what you condemn others giving. And even if you didn't "start any fights" who says such were started by those you abused? I've seen plenty of blame to go around. While I agree cursing is a big factor. I see no reason why intelligentpeopleshould have to curse to make a point. But why must people be calledVogons?People who get called Vogons usually called someone else something a lotworse first.Perhaps. But not always. And in a number of cases not at all. Now, how do you defend name calling when the person called a name hadn't done such themselves?Agreed. I used it defensively, and you'll find a lot more usefull AppleRidicule is a very powerful weapon.IIinfo here now and a lot less dreck. While that is true, it had nothing to do with your ridicule. It has to do with: 1) Tom not posting; 2)QC not posting; 3) Jeff H. not entering any disputes; 4) Ditto Rudy. It seems to me that you are taking credit for an accomplishment that wasn't achieved by your ridicule.I speak for no one, maybe somewould disagree. Well, I'm pretty sure that some would disagree. But wearestill too small to have two or more angry factions. That's long been my point, Bruce. So then, I suggest, rather than defending "your side" that you, and all of us here, just ignore the lewd, rude, crude, and socially unacceptable, and go one with the joy of promoting the Apple II. Thumper's father wasn't all wrong, you know. Roy-Paul
