It now looks like the glitch might have something to do with Apple
changing 
from iTools to this .Mac thing. What they gave out free to any adopters
of 
an earlier MacOS they've decided to charge for. Either you pay them an
anual 
fee by September 30 or they erase your account. So I guess I"ll have to
check 
my options and likely get a full time connection so I can host my own site.
