Go to www.apple2history.org for the custom //e you talk about. It's in the
museum, under Custom Computers section.
That's the one... bit of a clumsy shape with the drives in the same
case, but that's forgiveable. Maybe it was moulded though... or a very
good job with the sheet plexi. Photos aren't the best quality so it's
hard to say...
Found a 70's Wang dual casette player case, and a Wank keyboard case. Put
the motherboard in the bottom of the case, and found a couple of drive mechs
and put them where the casette players were. Lots of customizing, but I had me
a unique computer. I still have it, and maybe someday I'll clean it back up
and take some pics of it.
