That's odd - my user group's IIc has a 5 MHz RocketChip installed, and
it makes a huge difference to the performance. You might not notice it
for I/O-bound tasks, because its default configuration will trigger
delays whenever certain I/O locations are accessed.
I'll see if I can find the documentation for it (might be tricky - I
haven't seen it for about ten years).
