I am trying to determine the viability of a used AII Memory Expansion card
(slinky). It has 8 4256 chips installed in columns 4, 8, 12, 16 in rows A
and C. Ie, chips in A4 A8 A12 A16 C4 C8 C12 and C16. This doesn't seem
correct and the board is not recogonized in Prodos via in# or pr#,
although the c400 space is read correctly (slot 4).
1) What is the chip order for populating the board 256K to 1Mb?
Where should I place the first 8 chips?
2) Are the 256K chips on the AII compatible with the chips on a Apple
IIGS memory expansion card? Can I use one board to test chips from
the other board?
Thanks for help. Is there a PDF manual for the board available online?
