Re: Hardware Requirements for Flight Simulator II
According to the box that I have:
A2-FS2 Flight Simulator II
For the Apple II, Apple II+, & Apple //e
48K minimum memory required / DOS3.3 compatible / Joystick optional
Requires Apple floppy drive
Of course, if you have 64K, you get a whole slew of new features (pun intended).
According to page10 in the manual:
- works with the Apple III in emulation mode, but the 48K version is selected.
- Other brands of disk drives may work, depending on how Apple-compatible they
really are
- Paddles & trackball will also work, but you're better off using the keyboard
than these devices
- A Microsoft RAM card will also work. Other brands of 64K expansion RAM cardes
may work depending on their Apple Language Card compatibility.
Be sure to check out the 3D hanger at Willard Field!
