I'm just going down the list of likely suspects -- I've never seen thisproblem in the flesh (so to speak) but I'd try buying the Focus Drivezero at this point. It really doesn't sound like a disk failure to me...

Yeah I tried cleaning vacuuming the slots, basic cleaning and it still doesnt
recognize the card - even though the drive still boots ... Would buying the
focus drive zero and mounting this drive on that card work?  If you know?  Have
some very vital info on this drive and kinda panicking..
