Greetings!
This recent talk of clone ][s inspired me to drag mine out and see if it
still works. It does -- sort of, but that's another story. This
particular machine is a complete home-built, right down to the locally
produced printed circuit board and hand-built case...
Anyway, the last time I ran it I apparently ran it as a 48k machine
because I removed the language card. I'd like to reinstall it but the
knowledge regarding the particulars has apparently been displaced by
something else. I know that I have to remove one of the memory chips
and plug in the header from the card, but don't remember which chip. I
think that it's the one at E3. The faqs couldn't confirm, but a trip to
the csa2 archive found a post that said it goes into "the last row of
DRAM." Is the "last row" the E row?
Cheers!
