Hello all. I am having a little problem which is really annoying, so
I hope someone can help. Firstly, I am blind so I cannot use most
Apple II emulators. The ones which are available only support an II+
and plain text.
Here is my problem. I have a set of 800 kb GS disk images in shrinked
disk form. I can extract the disks with Nulib. How can I extract the
individual files from those disks? In other words, I have a disk of
Applesoft games which I know are in DOS 3.3 format. How can I move
them somehow to a standard 140 kb disk image for use with my emulator?
The obvious answer is just to use an existing GS emulator, but that
is impossible for me as I outlined above. I know of a program called
aftp which copies files from Apple II disks similar to ftp, but I am
reasonably sure it does not work with 800 kb GS images. If anyone can
help or provide a tool to do this, I would appreciate it. I am
running Windows 98 and have a 960 mhz processor. Thank you all very
much for your help.
