There was one utility in Nibble back in 1983 called DOS 3+2 which lets you
toggle between 16-sector and 13-sector modes without rebooting. I remember
entering it manually back then and it worked great. You boot into DOS 3.3,
run the utility, then initialize a diskette and it'll embed the modification
into DOS so when you re-boot, it'll already be installed.
