ProDOS disks are mountable on an 8.x or 9.1 Finder. Just did that on my
7500. It just won't happen with File Sharing turned on for some strange
reason on later versions.
Being that there's a folder in the preferences folder for storing file
sharing info, like from CD's, I happen to think that the sole reason for
ProDOS disks not mounting under later Mac OSes when file sharing is on
is purely Apple just trying to ignore the II.
