I don't know, Wayne. I'm not involved in the development
of that particular device myself. I have heard that there
may be another run of them, with the 500e (that's 500 logic
gates) FPGA chip. They made a few with that for the developers,
and the production run had 250e, which is 250 logic gates.
I think that Steve is trying to get the cost down so that
more people will buy them, but then again, that board is
really for developer's purposes. It's not just an interface.
So, keep mentioning it in CSA2 and maybe it will spur him on.
FYI, I am trying to develope my web site for use on Apples,
as well as on other platforms. Keep looking at it and make
comments as you see changes in the index page. That's the
first page that comes up, for those who aren't HTML savvy.
