Kinda reminds me for some reason of when the Wizardry series was
rereleased a few years ago in a big compilation.  As far as I could
tell, no changes were made to the graphics or other features of the
games, yet suddenly the minimum requirements were several generations
ahead of what they were when the games first came out (IIRC, they were
also about 1 generation ahead of what was currently the standard for
that matter.)
