Tony Diaz posted something a while back about using a ZipGS lying on it's
side in his IIgs portable. So I thought if this works for the ZipGS then it
likely
works for the TransWarpGS. So I tried it and it appeared to work fine. I
checked the control panels and the TransWarp control panel was there. I never
did check to see if the "whoosh" or splash screen was there as I normally have
those shut off.

There are power and ground fingers which would likely allow more power to
the card but mine runs fine at 14mhz without being in the slot. I don't feel
like
pulling my TransWarpGS but have a ZipGS that isn't in a IIgs so I checked to
see which fingers are actually connected. There's only one finger that wasn't a

power connection being used, pin 22 so possibly if the card's not in the slot
I might lose DMA. That's something I could have missed in the few hours I
ran the card out of the slot, the ramfast is pretty fast even with DMA shut
off.
