However, you have left out one reason that some do "have" to run Windows.
Sometimes, Windows is the only platform for some kinds of software. For example, I
use the Logos system, and even though the company does produce products for the
Mac, the crown jewels of the company only runs on Windows, and no one else produces
a package that does what Logos does on any other platform.
I'm hoping, though, to wean myself off Windows while still using the Logos system -
and that's using Wine or other similar products on top of Linux.
