This is probably the best option if you have a serial card in the IIe.
If you have a modem card, use the previous suggestion. A null modem
cable will allow you to do the same thing as calling one to the other
one usually at a faster rate. Modem can sometimes slow things down
because the phone lines are not very fast.
You just grab a serial cable, null modem adapter and any other adapters
to get the correct gender on the the cable to plug both ends into the
computers. (See Radioshack for gender /size /null adapters & cables.)
Fire up your terminal programs on either computer (or ADT) and start
transferring stuff.
