That is what I did. Dumped a good, booted fine from the hard drive (Gold
Vulcan), System folder from the GS hard drive to the Mac via Appletalk (mapped
the Mac's drive (which is named Blorp; one word no space) to the GS. I have
successfully booted 6.0.1 from the Mac by simply setting the bootfrom on ctl
panel to slot 7,and slot 7 to Appletalk, having the Mac up 1st, letting
Appleshare fully load THEN boot the IIgs... and being patient. I usually go
through at least 1 cup of coffee waiting for the boot. Man that is slow! Mac
is running Appleshare 3.0.3 under system 7.5.5 with Apple II login turned on in
administrator and all file shares open and active. Now, since I have 2 Apple
IIe(s) with workstation card that ALSO boot from here it got sticky; I used
Appleshare's Administrator to set up 2 IDs: One ID called GSer boots P16 and
loads 6.0.1, the other IIee boots to ProDOS (which I have Sneeze loaded on)
and comes up 8 bit. Tooks some juggling to figure this one and a seperate
startup folder specified depending on box.

btw on Sneeze above I have run into the 8X2 drive limit minus S6 and if you
have a Liron card minus S5 (and in one IIe's case -S2 because I have a CMS SCSI
on that one) I have a Quadra 950 with a STACK of drives on it (I got a deal on
old 1-2 GIG SCSI drives ;) and when I attach to it I can only attach to a few
drives at a time.
