You have saved me a number of hours. I have a Color Link card, and have

From the pinout documents for the IIgs' DB-15 video connector, the Color
Link's DB-15 video connector, and from Roger's web site, I understood I was
missing a +12v connection somewhere (provided by a IIgs, but not by the
Color Link). Just didn't have the time to wire things up and experiment
(this was a couple of weeks ago).

Being a noob at reading schematics, where exactly in the motherboard did
you hook the clip to get +12v?

Hi, Peter.

Find electrolytic cap C12 in the left-rear corner of the motherboard. The left side of that component is at +12V. I just used a little "hook" type test clip (should be available at Radio Shack).

Let me know how it works out for you.
