Is there a disk in the 3 1/2 drive?  The below assumes there is none.


"unable to load prodos" is a PRODOS
error message from its boot code.  That message gets loaded off the
disk
and the code to slam it on the screen comes from the disk too  (may be
the ROM on the card, but either way your focus is getting talked to
during boot.)  If there aren't disks in any of the other drives,
reinstall PRODOS on the Focus (delete PRODOS.SYS and then copy
a known good copy to the drive)..  If that does not work, you may need
to reformat the drive and/or run a drive diagnostics program
