Re: goodwill store brag

I picked up a newer platinum //e with monitor and 5.25" floppy drive,
and a Macintosh LCIII with 12" color monitor at our local Goodwill
store a few months ago, but I've been having much better luck at
another local thrift store.

I've managed to rescue a IIgs ROM3 (CPU only), a UniDisk 5.25, an
Apple 5.25", a couple of extended ADB keyboards, and a couple of Apple
//e's. The latest //e came with an extended 80-column card, a super
serial card, a Mockingboard (model A, I think) and a Disk ][
controller card with a single Disk ][ 5.25" drive and a clone
half-height 5.25" drive (Gamma?). The entire //e system looks like it
sat in a garage or basement for quite a while and is very dirty. I
also just picked up a Macintosh LC with 12" monitor that has an
ethernet interface installed. The best part is the price, though.
The aforementioned //e system (CPU, drives and monitor) was only $1.91
and the Mac LC was only 4.97 (yeah, this store prices things wierdly.)

A friend of mine rescued a IIc with monitor, a couple of //e's, and a
MacSE with Imagewriter II printer and carrying cases from the same
store.
