That's a lot of power being used there. According to AE's catalog (where they
are selling their beefed up power supply) a //e uses 1 amp, the 5.25 and 3.5
pull .9 amps, an accelerator pulls .5 amps, a CP/M card pulls .3 - 1 amps,
and a printer card pulls .3 - .6 amps, while the standard ][ power supply
only gives you 2.5 amps to play with.

Try using the power supply from one of the other machines in the Platinum,
and cutting down on some of the cards. If that works, I'd say you'd need a
new power supply. Last time I had look Jamico (spelling?) was still selling a
heavy duty power supply like AE did (which supplied 6 amps of power) If you
can't get one of those, you could do one of two other options: use a PC's
power supply outside the case, or (I've been meaning to try this myself)
soldier together to ][ power supplies in parallel (I've been told by my
techie friends that this should work - I hope their friends... ;-)
Hope this helps.
