On the Apple made memory expansion card, there are two sets of pins
near the front of the card. One set points up, the other down. They
do have J1 and J2 labels on them.
My memory may fail me here but I believe the valid memory
configurations are:
Memory Sockets J1 J2
------ -------- --- ---
256KB UA1-UA8 off off
512KB UA1-UA16 on off
1024KB UA1-UB16 on on
Note that 768KB is not a valid setting. You must fill the top right
bank of 8 sockets for 512KB and then fill the entire bottom row of 16
sockets which will take you to 1024KB.
