I'm told all the versions after that lacked the place for the connector. Definitely
nothing currant has one and it's unlikely any future ones will have one.
Unless you have some kind of extended warranty, I'd expect the waranty on the
origional iMacs to be long over. However I'm wondering how long new versions
of the OS will continue to support non-USB floppy drives.
This is progress I supose, whether I like it or not.
