In retrospect, I take this back. William Gibson makes a strong case for
networking the Babbage Analytical Engine, using the telegraph lines of that
era. If I somehow stumble across 2 unknown Babbage engines, I may just have
to cook up a 30 baud telegraph networking system. After all, in the unlikely
event, of finding 2 such computers, such a feat would forever immortalize me
in the annals of computer geekdom.
