That is the one of most absurd characterizations of the two camps that I
have seen yet. "Don't care who they step on?" That is a very outrageous,
deliberate misrepresentation of the camp that you are obviously opposed to.

I would really, really welcome a few examples of people who have suffered
actual losses from the free distribution of titles that have been out of
print for five years or more. And then I would welcome the same for titles
that have been out of print for 15 years or more.

After you've done that, you are welcome to explain who I have damaged if I
upload, say, "Hellfire Warrior," an obscure sequel to "Temple of Apshai"
that was poorly received even when it was actually for sale in 1980.

It is apparent that you are far more interested in being ivory-tower "right"
than you are in preserving the Apple II heritage.
