That doesn't hold up. Lotus 1-2-3 had exactly the same kind of copy protection that
Paul was complaining about. But, the corporations that were the major customers of
Lotus, were not hot beds of piracy, and so the copy protection was eventually
removed. Besides, my copy of Mac Print Shop isn't copy protected, it is dated 1986,
and is for a Mac with 512K, listing Mac, Mac XL, and Mac Plus as the models on the
front. Hard disk weren't THAT common for those machines at that time. And my copy of
PrintShopGS is dated 1987....
