It's apparent to me that you have no desire what so ever to help the
apple2 community... no matter what happens, you seem to down others
efforts to make the apple2 live on...

As a matter of fact, I have seen you contribute not *ONE* thing to help
Apple, you seem to be here to make others feel bad, to make yourself
feel better.  That's pretty sad when you must trash the efforts of
others to make yourself feel good.

Lets look at the others on this newsgroup, Sheppy, myself, and a select
group of others who offer to help the community...

I think if a vote were taken, it would be YOU who is not desired on the
newsgroup.

I've heard you were once a very talented Apple2 programmer, I don't
know if it's true or not, but if it is, try developing an app that
someone could use, or offer your knowledge, and strengthen the apple 2
community.

Everyone on this group has one thing in common, they have an
appreciation for the Apple II computer, they appreciate what it has
done for the world... if it weren't for the apple II, home computers
may not be here today, or at the least, be where they are today.  I'm
27, and I've got one of every Apple II made.... they sit in a display
case - for people to look at, that would never understand or appreciate
what they were, or even still are today.  My son will never know what a
5.25 floppy is, or a green phospor monitor - he'll never know the joys
of the old computer swap meets where someone built an interface to
their Apple to control which satellites they watched on their old 30
foot satelite dish in the back yard, or going into a software store and
seeing an Apple, Commodore, Amiga, Atari and Apple section - he'll just
see IBM.  All of these things brought us to where we are today.... and
they are all here because of the two guys who had vision and brains
(Steve and Steve), and made it a reality.

Apple2world.com is a site I put up to do nothing more than help the
community.  With Delphi and Genie gone, the only medium for us to stay
in touch with other apple enthusiasts are this newsgroup, and while it
does it's job, it lacks a lot of bells and whistles.  Apple2world.com
has real time chat, forums, games, file libraries, and the potential to
be maybe what Delphi or Genie once was... and ya know what??? I don't
want a damn thing in return... I don't want money, I don't want fame, I
just want a place where we can keep the Apple II alive.

I'm sure you'll have a comment (a snide one) to reply to this - but
you're not going to break my spirit to help keep Apple II's alive.

And in regards to the Dieresis Site - we use their NEWSBOY product for
the web headline news, and we did copy and modify their site.  You
obviously know this because I left LINKS to their site in the page and
in the source.... yes, Dieresis contacted me, and our issues were
resolved.  Not everyone in the world has a vendetta to hurt others....

and another thing while I am at it.... why don't you lay off of
Turley?  I'm moving his site over to one of our servers because he had
a stroke of badluck, and I have NEVER... and I mean NEVER seen someone
who has put forth more effort and dedication to the apple2 with no
personal gain for himself other than the promotion of the Apple
itself... he's written online E-zines, put files online, offered
support... and to tell you the truth, my personal dealings with the
guy, he's just all around nice, and would give the shirt off his back
to someone who needed it.  Again, someone else who has helped the A2
community and you continually bash them.  I'm new to the newsgroup, so
I am sure I am missing others you take potshots at, but he seems to be
the one you enjoy most.

Take a look in the mirror, if you don't like what you see, try and
change it....

as a flame towards you.. perhaps just some advice on how to be a better
