It works fine from a DOS window in Windows 98. It doesn't seem to work
properly in Windows 2000.

Unless you change the serial card to terminal mode.

I didn't think it could transfer .po files... never tried it as I don't have
any.

The target diskette doesn't need to be formatted for DOS 3.3. Any 35/16
formatted disk including ProDOS disks will work fine unless your software
has issues with volume numbers.
