What if the library were a web site and the Apple 2 a custom emulator?
The library would need a license for each piece software available for
loaning. Once a user has selected software to borrow it would be removed
from the catalog. The software would then be loaded directly into the
emulator's memory from the website. Should the user ever stray from the
website the emulator's memory would be flushed and the borrowed software
would be available again.
