I agree with the non-newsletter option. I used to be an officer with
the Anchorage Apple Users Group in Anchorage, AK. Individuals in the
'bush' wanted to have access to our newsletter, but would never attend
a meeting. They usually stopped by once, when they were in town, heard
about the meeting and attended as a guest.

With a little hashing around we came to the conclusion that 10 bucks
for a subscription to 12 issues of the newsletter was the solution. It
was later raised to $12.50; about a buck an issue for the newsletter.
As it was unlikely that we would get more than one 'regular'
subscription, but we were able to a number of 'newsletter only'
memberships.
