GS/OS is file system independent. The 32MB limit is the ProDOS
file system limit. However, you can install the HFS file system in
GS/OS and use it to break the 32MB limit.
Most of my IIGS program and data files reside on my HFS
partitions. They are simply more convenient. File naming is also
much more flexible.

You need to back up the 32MB first, then repartition the drive
as two partitions at least. The first has to be ProDOS and
thus 32MB. The second can be HFS. You use the ADU
program to partition assuming you have an Apple brand SCSI
card.
